Last week, we went to The Collective Encore for their karaoke event with a live band. It was hosted by the HariKaraoke Band, who has been doing this since 2010, and I believe tickets were just $10 a piece.
The HariKaroake Band was a lot of fun, they got the crowd excited and were good about playing the melody at the speed of the singer. If you enjoy karaoke and love the idea of a live band, this is a fun way to do it.
I’d never been to The Collective or The Collective Encore since they reopened. Located on Lake Kittamaqundi, The Collective took over Clyde’s and The Collective Encore took over the space of the Tomato Palace.
The two are connected by a hallway but they’re totally different in feel. The Collective Encore has a lounge feel, with a bunch of tables near the stage and a bar in the back.
You can order food at The Collective Encore and it’s a smaller menu than at The Collective. No photos from this visit but I had the Bone-In Wings (General Tso’s Sauce) and a Caesar Salad with Roasted Chicken. My lovely wife got the Encore Smash Burger, which came with two burger patties.
Overall, food was tasty and good. It was a step up from your usual bar standard since, I imagine, they are serviced by the same kitchen as The Collective.
I had a great time and am going to keep an eye out on their calendar for who will be performing there.
